A glorious evening of classical music:  Suite 1 in G major, Suite 3 in C major and Suite 5 in C minor.

Orlando Jopling is a London-based cellist, conductor and curator. His teachers include the legendary William Pleeth, Alexander Baillie and Raphael Wallfisch. He divides his time between conducting various orchestras, giving recitals and playing chamber music, and playing with the London Symphony Orchestra. He has given over 120 recitals of solo Bach in rural churches which have collectively raised over £70,000 for their restoration and upkeep.

He is Principal Conductor of the 140-year-old Royal Orchestral Society in London and has also conducted the English Chamber Orchestra both in the recording studio and on the concert platform, the London Mozart Players, Irish Chamber Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as well as orchestras all over Europe. He has conducted over twenty five opera productions, and co-founded Stanley Hall Opera and the contemporary opera specialist Tête à Tête.

He is artistic director of Roman River Festival in coastal Essex, has performed with many pop stars including Sinéad O’Connor and Martha Wainwright, and his music for TV has been heard on all the major UK channels.

Orlando  has given over 100 performances of the suites in churches across the UK, bringing communities together to hear the beautiful music of Bach.
