Price: Pay what you can

Our regular monthly community OPEN:Art sessions for all – a chance to get creative in our beautiful, inspiring  space.

Abstract art does not attempt to create realistic images of objects, places or people but instead it seeks to convey thoughts, emotions and ideas through shape, forms, gestural marks and colours. Taking inspiration from artists such as Kandinsky and Jasper Johns, we will be exploring various techniques and tools such as painting with pallet knives, using complementary colours, introducing signs and symbols and painting to music.

All materials provided. Pay what you can.

All ages welcome – and a play area is available for under 5s. Please note: under 5s must be supervised by a parent/carer at all times.

Make sure you don’t miss out on future events by signing up for our newsletter, and by following us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
