10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Price: Workshops and evening event - £5; Evening event - free.
The Haiku Fest will explore the relationship between Haiku, a traditional form of Japanese poetry, and experimental electronic music. It will also break the barrier between audience and artists and encouraging collaboration online and offline.
In the morning we’ll host an introductory workshop to haiku. The poems created will then be used as creative prompt by Naviar’s international online community of musicians: the resulting compositions will be performed as sound installation in the evening, just before the live music performances by Naviar Records’ experimental artists.
10am – 1pm: introduction to haiku poetry
2 – 5: creative talks
6.30 – 7.30: sound installation
8 – 10: live performance
The Old Church bar will be open in the evening. Please note it is cash only
