Performing with his custom-made five-string electro-acoustic violin, Alex Stolze works in musical distinctions, merging violin-based-textures with electronic beat-and-noise production. On his debut album ‘Outermost Edge’ he moves effortlessly between the modern classical and electronic worlds and fascinates the listener with his ability to fill sparse landscapes with content.
He will be joined by labelmate and friend Anne Müller on the cello, who is a well-known face in the world of contemporary music. She has contributed to the work of artists like Nils Frahm, Agnes Obel and Ben Lukas Boysen .
Support Ben Osborn is a composer, sound designer and songwriter. His music has won several awards such as the Cameron Mackintosh Award and the Methuen Drama Emerging Artists Award. He teaches production and composition at the Open Music School in Berlin.
